Is it possible the world of crime is changing
In a stunning new study it has been shown that women could be more at risk of being targeted by other women when it comes to be being a victim of theft and even assualt.
The ministry of justice has recently revealed that the number of crimes that are being committed by women in England and Wales have risen by 22% in a very limited space of 4 years. The worst is the age range which shows that just under 58,000 of these crimes were committed by girls aged between 10-17 which means they are not even grown adults yet. It really is very shocking to hear that someone of so young could do such a terrible thing. This has increased by 10,000 since 2004. Historically people have been more afraid of men committing crimes obviously due to awful crimes such as assault and rape. Recently it has been shown that people are not just afraid of men but women and even children.
So be warned, next time you see a woman eying up your bag it could in fact be someone trying to pinch it rather than the look of envy of your expensive bag. Although the bag itself could hold sentimental value to you it is the contents inside that the person is after. They hunt for everything from phones, mp3 players and cash. Of course if you have gadget insurance it isn’t a big a worry if your phone or mp3 gets taken. Someone could steal your whole life with one simple snatch of a bag.
Putting up a fight when a criminal is trying to steal your bag is the last thing you should be trying to do. Throw it to the ground so you can get away from the situation while the criminal picks the bag up.
Home insurance and home emergency insurance can also come in very useful if someone breaks into your home and steals something from there.
