I am new to Android therefore am learning its traits. Pretty easy to buy but there are in all probability nice features I haven't yet discovered.

What I love about the tablet:

• The monitor is happier and sharper than my laptop with a premium monitor.
• Nice size for handling along with viewing.
• It is usually a comfortable weight. Not as bad as I got expecting from comments comparing it towards iPad. Much, much better than lugging the laptop especially when you want to check something while watching youtube.
• The virtual keyboard is easier to use than I expected. Great size.
• The full-size and mini USB ports. I haven't necessary to use the mini-HDMI port but I'm glad it is at this time there for future use.
• Long battery life. Not so long as the iPad but plenty long enough for me.
• The free Kindle application. I like this better than my wife's Kindle. Although this can't compete inside bright daylight, it needs no secondary lighting for reading at night. It offers three distinct viewing backgrounds, white, sepia and also black. Haven't tried it however the black might work in bright sunlight.
• THIS SLINGBOX APP!! This is sweet. For those who have no idea Slingbox gives you access to your TV/DVR anywhere there may be internet. I have used this for decades on my laptop out of my back deck daily as we travel. The picture to the Acer is more crisp approach older Slingbox t was on my laptop.
