Can i set up a dell latitude cpi a series laptop up for wireless internet? If I get a pc card or wifi card? ?
How much is it to have a mini-pci wifi card installed on the laptop if i can?
First look on the bottom of your lap top if it has a sticker that says WiFi certified then you do not need a wireless adapter yours is built in as most all newer lap tops have this.
If it does not have this sticker you can buy a USB or card adapter and get one with the software CD for installing and setting the WiFi/802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connection up.
What type of Internet connection are you using, land line/phone/dial up, DSL, cable, Satellite ?
You will need a router if you do not already have one set up for your connection, this is built into the modem or connected to it at the Internet connection source.
